10 days from Fes and Aunthentic Morocco Itinerary:

From Fes and Aunthentic Morocco, Upon your arrival, our guide will promptly meet you at the designated time, facilitating a seamless transfer to a well-located hotel within the historical medina of Fez. Depending on your arrival time, an opportunity arises to explore a captivating part of Fez. Therefore, the evening concludes with an overnight stay at the hotel.

Embark on a guided tour of Fes’ Medina, delving into its hidden treasures. For instance, visit the Moulay Idriss mausoleum, Nejjarine Fountains, and the Tanneries. Additionally, explore the Mellah and a living synagogue, and witness the grandeur of the Royal Palace. Capture a panoramic view and visit a renowned ceramic factory before returning to your riad for the night.

Following breakfast in your riad, journey southeast along the Caravan roads to Merzouga. Traverse glimpses of the Middle Atlas and Higher Atlas mountains, pausing at the Cedar forest—the largest in Morocco, home to Barbarian apes. After a Midelt lunch, venture through the expansive high desert. Consequently, notice how the landscape transitions as you approach Er Rachidia. Your journey continues along the lush Ziz Valley, renowned for date cultivation, and arrive at Merzouga in the late afternoon. A warm welcome with mint tea awaits at your riad.

After riad breakfast, embark on an explorative journey. For example, visit the Gnawa people to experience their music and lifestyle. Explore the lake of Merzouga with its bird populations and visit the souk in Rissani. Likewise, return to Merzouga for an afternoon rest before mounting your camel. Subsequently, be guided by an experienced camel man to explore the sand-sea of Merzouga. The night unfolds at our desert camp, complete with dinner and convenient western bathrooms.

Wake early for a camel-guided sunrise viewing. Afterward, trek back to Merzouga, appreciating the changing beauty of Erg Chebbi sand dunes. Proceed to Rissani, Tinghir, and Todra gorges. Additionally, after lunch in the gorge heart, drive through the Dades Valley. Here, you’ll encounter sand castles and unique rock formations known as “monkey toes.” Your overnight accommodation will be in a fancy hotel overlooking the Dades valley.

Post-breakfast, traverse the Dades Valley towards Kalaat Mgouna and Ouarzazat. The journey through the Valley, known as the way of the thousand Kasbahs, provides ample opportunities for captivating photographs. For example, pause at Kalaat Mgouna, “the rose city,” for rosewater shopping before reaching Ouarzazat via the Amridil Kasbah. The night unfolds in Ouarzazat.

Commence the day with an early riad breakfast before heading to Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site kasbah. Drive to Marrakech via the Tizi Ntichka pass, capturing photos of Berber villages along the way. Check in to a Medina riad in the late afternoon for an overnight stay.

After a riad breakfast, journey to the coastal city of Essaouira, exploring its medina alleys and handicrafts. Known as the “City of the Wind,” Essaouira’s rich history and characteristic blue doors make it Morocco’s “Jewel of the Atlantic.” Visit the women’s co-operative of Argan oil and enjoy a free lunch. In the afternoon, travel back to Marrakech for an overnight stay.

Savor a free day in Marrakech after a riad breakfast. Explore historical and cultural sites, such as the Koutoubia Menaret, Saadian tombs, Palace of Bahia, and Ben Youssef Coranic School. Wander through Medina alleys, reaching Jamaa El Fna Square for lunch. Additionally, afternoon visits include the Majorelle gardens and a Gueliz tour. Evening entertainment in the square precedes an overnight stay at your riad.

Enjoy an early riad breakfast before our drive to the airport for your return flight, concluding our service. In conclusion, we trust you’ve had a memorable and enriching experience in Morocco.
